Knights Meats & Deli is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Chicken Department Manager to take on this exciting position within our team. You will be responsible for the day to day management of our chicken department and leading our team to be the best they can be.

To be successful for this Full Time Role, you must have a previous management experience in the Hospitality/Food industry and experience with the following:

  • HACCP
  • Stock ordering andiInventory
  • Product quality control and rotation
  • Innovation and product development
  • Customer service
  • Employee management & rostering
  • Previous experience in the meat industry is preferred but not essential

You must always:

  • Strive for the highest standards and attention to detail
  • Be self motivated, with energy and enthusiasm to inspire
  • Have excellent written communication skills
  • Show great interpersonal skills – and be a team player who’s able to develop and foster productive working relationships
  • Be proactive and constantly generate new ideas for business growth or improvement
  • Push for constant self improvement, the ability to stay on top of the latest consumer trends and challenge old thinking to drive innovation
  • Have a love of food and retailing
